Locking systems such as magnetic and electric strikes provide additional user
security by allowing employees to lock and unlock doors from a distance, such as
behind a counter or using a remote control.
Locks can be interfaced to
alarm systems for panic-button activation or to lock and unlock with system
activation and deactivation.
Emergency lock release can interfaced to
panic buttons, motion sensors, and smoke detectors, to comply with local fire
and safety regulations.
Outside access can be controlled by means of a
keypad or coded
card-key.
